Our Vision
Jesus didn’t leave a mission for His Church, He left a Church for His mission!
At Transformation Church, our purpose is to fulfill His mission. We say it like this:
“We exist to see people transformed from who they are to who God wants them to be.”
There are two teachings of Jesus that drive us as a church:
Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe…” Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.
Our Mission
We believe the Christian life is a journey. And like every journey there are steps to be taken. No matter where you are on your journey, whether you are a spiritual seeker, or have had a relationship with God for years, there is always a next step that can be taken. Our Next Steps process is simple and designed to help you become a fully devoted follower of Christ. Our vision is to help you take four simple steps:
We want to make sure everyone knows God. Not just know about God, but for each person to know Him personally and have a genuine relationship with Him. The primary way we introduce people to God is through our weekend services. Our services are designed with our guests in mind, even those who have never been a part of a church before. We have a saying here, “you belong before you believe”.
We believe every believer needs to experience freedom. Freedom from their sins, freedom from their bondage, and freedom from their yesterday. At TC, we help you find freedom through Small Groups. We believe true freedom and life-change happens in the context of relationships. In a Small Group, you’ll build the relationships necessary to help you live a free and victorious life.
We believe God designed you with specific plan and a special purpose. Our goal is to help you discover what that purpose is. We accomplish this through a process called Next Steps. Next Steps is two consecutive classes that help you connect to the vision and connect to your purpose, and show you how you can use that purpose to impact the lives of others. StepONE of Next Steps happens on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. StepTWO happens on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
We believe the reason God designed you with specific gifts and a purpose is to ultimately make a difference in the lives of others. Here at TC we serve God by serving others. We accomplish this by giving you the opportunity to use your gifts and passions to join a team and serve others on a Sunday. The teams of people here at TC that make us who we are are known collectively as the Dream Team. Through the Dream Team, you have the amazing opportunity to make a difference in the life of someone else.
